Daily

Not much has changed in my simple little life.

The sky above is cascaded in various shades of grey as the weather overcast blankets the filth of my city. When it rains, the purity washes away the dirt, and life gradually returns to the hills behind my home. The greenery, though mostly just weeds, is a nice contrast to everyday life.

I haven’t had time to appreciate the environment as much as I’d like, however. School has me occupied on a daily basis as I keep striving for self-improvement. It’s difficult at times, but I somehow manage to stay sane in my often sleep deprived state. I run off caffeine for the most part, but those who have come to know me have come to accept this single vice of mine.

I’ve been recommended for two jobs in the last four months; both of them are tutoring jobs. I’ve chosen a particular job where I’ll be working under my English mentor as a supplemental instructor (SI). The pay is good, but money wasn’t particularly an issue to begin with.

My life, as always, remains simple and often unchanging.

Someday, I’ll see more.
