A World Away

In this life time, I could only see having her in my life in one way regardless of what we are or were at any given point in time. I asked her never to let me in her life again as a favor to me, a last favor. That I needed to work on my own life, to do the things I feel I needed to do if being together was never going to be in the cards for us. We said our goodbyes and held nothing against one another. We both have our own lives to live.

I wonder where the roads will take me.
