Time to Rest

As anyone who eats in a healthy way knows, it takes time and effort to prepare and clean up any kind of meal or snack you wish to eat.  Last week I was very diligent and spent more time in the kitchen in one week than I’d spent in a LOOOONG time.  Yesterday I had plans to season and roast some pumpkin seeds, and make some quinoa for breakfasts.

I didn’t do either of those things.  I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen (which really needed it) and spent the rest of the evening eating popcorn and relaxing.  I also got a fair bit of Bible reading done, which I had been craving.

So, today I will make the quinoa, and I promise myself that the seeds will be roasted by the weekend.
