Can we say accomplished?

This weekend…

Saturday there was dress work. Lots of fitting and sewing little things. My mom call’s me bo-peep, because usually I’m just standing around in my hoop skirt while she works on bits and pieces. Then she pretends to be fitting the pieces, when she is really just trying some wierd form of acupunture. Can we say ow?

After all the pins and needles, my cousin and I went to visit our grandparents. I picked up Tim on the way and we sat and talked for about three hours or so. It was something I haven’t done in a while. I really enjoyed just getting to see them. As I start to get older the soft glow begins to wear off and I’ve started to see them in a different light. Normal people who’ve been through a lot. People who by some awesome concidence happen to be related to me.

I bummed some comics and such from Tim’s place. Now I have about two weeks worth of Fables to get through and the D&D players handbook. Yeah, for lots of reading.

Today was spent entirely up at Faire. At about 9:45ish, I went to the swap meet. I bought a piece of jewelry and I think someone acutally bought some of my stuff. Money! Ok, it was only a dollar or something, but still.

Then came the cast meeting. It was long and kind of there. They read parts of scenario and did the usual chatty stuff.  Scenario was actually funny. I’m still not sure what my part is exactly, but that’s alright. The smaller, the happier.

Overall, it was a good weekend. Relaxed and accomplished. I’m feeling pretty good.

Now if only we could get our gamers to show up…..
