Working Again

Night before last Chris and I went to a surprise birthday party for Leigh. She thought her hubby was in Tunica for three days, for a charity event for the National Heart Association. They go every year, but this year she decided to stay home, and John told her he was going anyway. She was so shocked and surprised it was awesome! A few people from work showed up, but as usual most people who said they were going, didn’t. John told Alison to tell everyone about the party, when she called, and I only found out a day before. Alison is jealous of Leigh and I’s friendship. She’s a user and only looks for people that can get her ahead in life. Which is fine for bettering yourself, but not when you selectively weed out people as friends because you feel your better than them. She only told a few people, which is sad, because a lot more people would have come I think. This is why I dislike her. This party wasn’t about Alison or what she wanted, but she still managed to try and make things go her way, at the expense of someone else. But despite that fact, we had a great time, and Leigh really enjoyed her birthday!

Chris got a job! He’s at orientation right now. He got a job at Sam’s club. It’s doesn’t pay as much as his last job did, but he already gets benefits. He’s signed me up for dental already which is great because I soooo need it! Especially since I have this one tooth that’s been buggin since the beginning of this pregnancy. I’m so happy for Chris, he really didn’t want to have to work resturaunts anymore, and we were sweating him getting a non resturaunt job. I’m very relieved, I can’t wait to start buying baby stuff. How soon is too soon to buy the furniture, and other things?

I got the most retared note today, someone asking if it really took a year and half for us to get pregnant. *blink* Yeah because you know, I just make that shit up. Really, why would I say it if it wasn’t true.  I have work today but I’m off tommorrow and Monday. I have a check up for the baby on Monday at 3:40. I guess I need to eat, and get ready for work.
