Update On Things

It has been so busy, which was a good distraction. Chris’s brother Wes came out and helped us tremendously. He fixed the dodge truck, and my headlight in my truck. He helped Chris move all the furniture out of Jess’s TV room, which is now the nursery for Kensington. He and I went through the massive chaos that Jess called his filing system, and we got that all sorted out, and operational. I have shredded two bags of useless papers, and still have more to go. We re did the layout of our room. Wes also painted Kensington’s room this perfect light pink color that Chris and I picked out, called Ballerina Gown. He set up our new dining room table, did the lawns, and other countless things while Chris and I worked. It would have taken us months to get through all that mess and chaos.

I do have belly pictures for the past 2 weeks, but I can’t upload them until Chris fixes the camera dock. He must have hooked it back up wrong, when we put the new tv/desk center in. I had an ultrasound appointment last Thursday, and bumblebee wouldn’t show her face, but we got a great couple shots of her girl parts. No mistaking that. She weighs about 3 pounds 12 ounces, so a little small, but they said everything looks good, and there’s nothing to worry about. I have a feeling she won’t go over 8 pounds.

Chris’s brother Hershel came out for a short visit during that week, whoch was nice because we haven’t seen him in 4 years. His wife is a bitch and never tells him when Chris or his mom calls. But she did send with Hersh a couple cute outfits for Kenzie. A girl from work gave me a huge box of baby clothes. I’m going to sort through them today and seperate them into piles for age so I know what I have and if I need more of any size.

My baby shower is next Monday, and I’m excited. We have most of the big things bought, I still need some things like bottles for breastmilk, a breast pump, and I’m sure some things I’m not thinking of. 

We picked up Jess’s ashes last Wednesday, it’s hard, but good to have him back with us in some way. I try not to think about it too much, but I get really upset thinking about how Kensington is missing out. I know there will be times when I’ll wish he was here to see something she does.

I need to get this stuff done and quit lagging about the internet.
