Sinkers * u/w pic*

*Update at bottom

I can feel it all coming back. If I could get pregnant, this would definately be keeping me from it anyway. I hate stress, it hangs in the air like humidity on a hot summer afternoon. I’m really stressed about money right now, and of course the BIG FUCKING SINKHOLE on our backyard doesn’t help. Hahaha yeah funny. Except our insurance doesn’t cover it even though it should. Why, you ask? Well because our house isn’t in "emminent danger", it happened "over time", and it’s not harming any structures. Our house is going to be swallowed and they won’t do shit til it does. However the house is covered, so instead of the 50,000 they will have to pay to get the ground fixed, they’ll have to pay 139,000 for a new house. Okay. Assholes.

Now that my vent’s over and my head is clear from negative thoughts. Jess’s doctor called today and his stats are down again. From 83 to 61! It does seem like the medicine is slowing down, his other numbers had huge drops. But I’m not sure if that’s normal.

I stuck my hand with the camera down into the hole on the edge of the driveway and lawn, and took these pictures. This is the straight shot.

This is the view to the left.

The view (slighty tilted) to the right.

Tell me…if the shit is under the the driveway, how the fuck we’re we supposed to notice it right away. Um, does that look SAFE????

Updated*

The city called us back and the head honcho is coming out on Monday to look at it. I guess the city is going to pay for it. I took a photo of the hole, and of the top of the driveway so you can see what I mean. Where that wood board and green fence is, is the hole. The section to the left and the right is all sinkhole underneath that.

And this is the hole. The hole just appeared. Its not like the hole was there and we knew it, it came out of nowhere.

Seriously tiny hole.

Holy schnikes… I say have someone from the city come out and condemn it or red flag it to make the insurance pay

We had that problem at my old house, insurance also wouldn’t cover it. I still drive by from time to time to see if the house is still there. It is. Hopefully either insurance will wise up, or nothing will happen.

Whoa. Looks like the set from that crappy movie with Kevin Bacon (Tremors?)…..Mmmmmm bacon… RYN: dangit, ya made me cry again. STOP DOING THAT!!!!!!! lol…thanks for the offer. Watch you get 11 emails from Sobby McCrybaby over here, lol…
