*I was really tired when i wrote this last night. Re-reading it I realized all the stuff I left out. I have to learn all the company rules, and remember them. For your first days of work, which is 4 days of training, you have to come to work and take a test. If you score below a 90% you have to leave re-study and come back the next day. So you really have to know this stuff. So I’ve been studying and Chris has been helping. The three tests are in the server manual word for word with answers for us to study. So I’ve been studying that, and I made my own seat charts and filled in the pivots and the table numbers. I did pretty good, minus a few that I got wrong after rechecking it with the seat chart given to me. But I’ve got it now I think. Just to be sure I’ll do one more seating chart. The Abbs are 2 pts each with 63 of them so thats 126 points right there. I’ve been really concentrating on them. I love that I get 25% off food AND drinks there. I really like this place and if I like serving I think I’ll work part time there while going to school. I’ve been hearing all over from other servers at other resteraunts that Raffetry’s is a great tip place. Good. I need lots of money, but who doesn’t? Studying for work is just getting me more excited for school. I hated homework in high school but now I’m so focused on it. In fact I kinda like it a lot. I’m turning into a nerd, or a responsible adult…EEEEEK! Lol. Tropical Storm Arlene is headed towards us so I’ll be missing out on a lot of computer time. Grr.

That’s me :)! It went well today, just me and another girl, Marty. She’s served before, so I’m going to have to learn how to hold 4 plates at once, and carry 5 or 6 glasses at a time, memorize the sections, the tables, and the pivot, the Abbs, and a few other things…by Monday. Thats when I offically start training. I’ve got my manual and I plan on studying from tommorrow on. It sounds hard but Im sure its easy. I pretty much have the pivots, and the tables down. They fed us, and never eaten there before, I was in love. it was so good. We ate at 4 and I’m still stuffed. Right now I’m about to go to Wally World to pick up a movie.
