Quit Being Bitter

Valentine’s Day is tommorrow. I’m sick of hearing how people hate it. So what! I hear the well it’s stupid because you should show your love everyday. Oh yeah, well the same goes for Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, but no one complains about those days being a hallmark holiday. It’s not about getting gifts, it’s about appreciating what you have, the feeling itsself, and just being together, and around loved ones. If you don’t have a signifigant other, spend time with a relative who’s lost someone, make it special for them. Quit bitching about how stupid it is, some people enjoy it. Even my husband likes it. He’s not very romantic, though the fact he tries is sweeter in itsself.

I never did tell Chris about my bathroom episode, I just don’t want him to feel bad. He’s determined to get me pregnant, and it breaks my heart to know it’s probably not going to happen. But we are still trying, I just can’t give up. I’m not a quitter. Not on this. My dream is to be a mama,

Tim hates valentines day =( I get torn up every year because he won’t get me anything.

Random noter: People say they hate it because they hate the fact that they’re going to spend it alone. Some sort of defense mechanism…to be in denial. Don’t you hate that? It’s annoying sometimes.

I totally agree with you. This is the first year I have had to celebrate it with someone I care about, but I never bashed it before. Sour grapes is such a stupid attitude to have. Those same people would be jumping up and down if they had someone who wanted to be their valentine.

Totally valid point about <3 day. You better not quit! I have a buttload of clothes I have to pawn off, I mean, pass along to another mommy 😉 I posted more pics, in case you’re bored, or waiting for a pot to boil 😛

Oh, I hope you become a Mommy! I love being a Mommy! So here’s hoping you get knocked up! lol! As far as the “loves day” goes (that’s what my 5 year old calls it, I consider it a day to remind my two daughters that they are my true love. So for me it’s yet another Mommy day. I think if you are in a good relationship it would be a great day to celebrate that. I have NEVER been in a good relationship so it has never been romantic for me. But it has always been a day for me and my girls though. Hey, here’s a thought, Valentines day is a great day to “practice” getting pregnant. Afterall practice makes perfect…………..right?
