Progress *w/pics*
The sinkhole progress is coming along swimmingly. They’ve fixed the sewer lines, and have filled the hole. I’m not quite sure what they are doing now, but I saw them cutting up more concrete. Not sure why, but I’m sure it’s for good reason. They’ve worked hard, and quick.. I’m excited for them to finish. The poor dogs haven’t had a free run in days. They are ansy to get out there. The lawn is destroyed. Absolutely destroyed. But, it’s worth it to save our house. When they place the cement, we want to seal our handprints somewhere in there, and then the dogs too. Growing up my driveway was covered with little kitty paws, thanks to Sugar, my white persian cat. We had her til I was 4 and she disappeared. We think the coyotes got her. But it was a lasting memory through the years of the cat I loved. I’d love to put sadie’s prints in there too, but she might spaz outside. It’s been alost 4 years.
At work yesterday I did three times the work, in the same amount of time. I came in to open, and thankfully I showed up 15 minutes early. One of the other openers called out and said he was sick. Vince said he saw him standing outside in the parking lot though, right before the guy called. Sick my ass. Better have a doctors note. The other opener didn’t show up til 11. Her alarm didn’t go off. Opening with one person is impossible, yet I did it and finished it. I did get some help filling the pepper shakers, but I made 6 sets of tea urns, 2 pots of coffee, chopped 2 large containers of lemons, made bleach water, wipes, filled out the board, set up the soup, made butters and ketchups, got ice, and a bunch of other things on my lonely…, oh a semi just rolled into our yard. I completely flabbergasted the management staff there too. Good reviews coming my way hopefully. I definately need it, after the iccident a few days ago. I’m being watched carefully for now.

I love the idea of putting your handprints in the cement! We did that with Gracie when she was 2. It’s so cute to see the prints and the year below them!
