My Little Angel

Three weeks old already! She had a doctor’s appointment Monday, and she weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces now. She’s up almost a pound from when we left the hospital. She also grew an inch and half. She’s already started trying to hold her head up, and she’s very curious about her surroundings when she’s awake.

Chris’s brother will be in town on Sunday for two days for a conference, but he’s going to stop by! Then Chris’s aunts should be coming out at some time. Chris’s aunt Denise sent out a package for Kensington that should be here tommorrow I hope. I’m excited, since I’ve been waiting 5 weeks for her to send that package. My parents will be here on the 7th of December, and after they leave I’ll be going back to work. That will be the hardest for me. I don’t want to be away from my baby. They grow so fast, and I don’t want to miss a minute. I’d love to be a SAHM but we just can’t afford that. At least I’ll only be working part time hours, and still making good money. At least while she’s sleeping, I get time to deep clena the house. First I picked up the house, and now I’m going through cupboards and cabinets and drawers, dressers, closets, and gutting them, organizing them, and throwing away old junk. I must still be nesting, since I didn’t get to nest the weeks before she was born. I figure I have all this time, I might as well put it to good use.
