More About Dad

Not feeling really good right now. We knew he was getting worse, but hearing it confirmed is hard. He’s down to 150 lbs. He looks really thin. He’s in and out of his mind, not really comprehending what we say at times. He was fine an hour ago. Once he was in the kitchen to get his dinner he forgot completely where he was. Who he is I think. He just stared blankly at me when I asked him if he was okay. Finally Chris got him back into his chair, but he forgot how to feed himself, so Sandra is doing that now.

Chris has been an asshole since the doctor’s called. I know he’s upset but it doesn’t make him right to be mean to me. He’s slipping fast, and of course it’s the weekend so we have to wait until Monday to call the doctor’s about his catatonic state. Something is wrong though, I’m worried he’s had a stroke or something.
