PLEASE READ THE STORY FIRST

Not me though, not yet. Although I will hint that I am cutting my hair in a couple months, and it will be short! I redid my bathroom. It was just overwhelmingly green and it was making me sick to go in there. The backstory. Sandra has always had to decorate everything, the whole house is her taste. Big furniture that we can barely move around, minimal storage space. It looks nice but it’s like a magazine cover. Not very functional. I can’t change any of that though. So when we moved in she decided she wanted the front bathroom green, and her bathroom brown. Well she did green alright, and the accent color…a darker green. It was sickening. Way too matchy matchy. I started off just wanting to change the shower curtian, so Chris ripped a big hole in it so I could buy one I wanted. And after finding the shower curtain and matching toothbrush holder, soap dish and dispenser, I decided I could no longer live with green on green towels either. So introducing my new bathroom! I’ll show you before and afters and I’d like to know which one everyone likes better. Be honest!

it looks awesome!! i love purple

March 27, 2008

I like them both. I do like the purple more, but the green is still nice. I have a green bathroom, and a brown bathroom… and a green, blue and brown bathroom, and spooky enough the green bathroom use to be purple, well the towels were, and it had this ugly bright yellow shower curtain… ah MIL decorating, it’s horrid. Did I mention that to go with the purple and yellow bathroom she hadfloral pink (really pink!) bedroom set.

I actually like both! I think the purple is my fave though, especially the shower curtain – it’s beautiful.

i like the after better, it complements the walls better. our guest bathroom is green and the one in our bedroom is blue, but i used wayyy different greens in there, and white accent instead of another green. you did a great job! 🙂

March 27, 2008

Oh yeah, yours is WAY better! It lightens the room up. All that green is too much. Gotta have SOME kind of accent color somewhere!

March 27, 2008

it looks great!

March 27, 2008

Wow it’s so tasteful now :o)

I love the amethyst! It looks so much cheerier and less…”old” hehe. And I’m cracking up about Chris ripping a hole in the shower curtain for you 😀 Has Sandra said anything?

March 27, 2008

Ugh – the before pictures screamed ‘old lady!’ I love the purple. It’s much more soothing.

March 27, 2008

I love the purple shower curtain. I need to a makeover on my bathroom as well.

March 27, 2008

March 27, 2008

I love the purple! It is such a pretty color!

March 27, 2008

the purple…too much green in the other one.

March 27, 2008

That looks AWESOME, girl! I *LOOOOOOOOOOOVE* it! 😀

March 27, 2008

Its very pretty. I dont think the green was too bad. The shower curtain was kinda pretty… but I know how when you live with something you dont like it just gets too much. The purple looks so relaxing!

March 29, 2008

MUCH better!

March 29, 2008

I can’t blame you for being sick of green. That was so not cute before. I love the purple though. It’s very peaceful.
