I See We Survived

So I see we all survived the "devil’s day".  I wonder how many devoted people actually believed in the end of the world, and just didnt show up to work yesterday. How embarassing.

Last night Sheena and I went to a Pure Romance/pool party at Amelia’s. One of the those sex toy parties. The woman’s presentation was adaquate, but I did end up buying two things for the bedroom. GRRRRrrrrrrowl. We drank beer, and did some late night swimming. We stayed out a little later than I expected to though.

I really enjoy Amelia’s company. Her and her husband, who is my husbands boss, have been trying for a baby as long and Chris and I have. I really feel like a strong connection to her, because she is one of the few people IRL that understands what I’m going through.

I’m really stressed out today. Sandra’s surgery is next week, and Chris will be taking a month of work. I’m so stressed about money, about the surgery, and about this baby issue. It feels like we will never get the ball rolling on this. I can’t stand not knowing what is wrong. I just want to go and figure it out, so we can learn how to conquer this. I feel more hopeless not knowing. Things will be okay.
