Catching Up On The Past

 

My life is taking an interesting turn. I like it. I’m excited to see where this part of the ride will take me. The insurance company ruled that it was their responsibility to fix the sinkhole, and they’ve already got city workers out here working on it. I’m really impressed how fast our insurance company is working on this, and how hassel free it all was. Besides that one guy, it’s been pretty smooth, and a month is not bad for results.

Last night I co shifted, which is something I try to avoid if possible. For the very reason that work can become a giant clusterfuck, like last night. I survived.

Today is the first time I’ve seen Chris in a week. For more than a passing through at work, for a lucky 10 minutes. We’ve had to resort to writing notes as a source of communication. It’s saddening. It’s my emotional coaster time as well, so my moods have been swinging all over the place.

After work I signed on YIM to check my mail, and Cari was online. I didn’t even notice at first, since no one is ever on YIM anymore. I’m glad she was on, and even though I was still angry with how our friendship has been going, after a few minutes online with her, I was feeling better. I’ve really missed talking to her, and knowing what’s going on in each other’s lives. Our chat was pretty funny though, in some parts and I’d like to post some blips from it. We started talking about OD, and how she never comes here anymore. Since we live on oppsite times, and are both busy people, calling is hard sometimes. With OD I feel we can still stay in touch, and here bout each others lives, and be supportive. She finally updated it last night after I went to bed, and Mister DM "Dad" even noted her.

scoobygurl18: heather (aka, Yogi), we are going to move after i am out of high school. we are going to Arizona, i promise. nothing is going to stop us. but it has to be phoenix, that is where ASU is and that is where Rich’s school is. we will all get a place together, me you and Rich, that is if you dont mind, he is not a bad guy.

Ugh, Heather…. Richard wont leave me alone. Oh goodness i am so into it with Delshaud, i am so in love with him. he wont let me forget how much he loves me, it is so great. he calls out of the blue just to say he loves me. he is so sweet

And reading the notes I left her I realized something

scoobygurl18: now I would be very annoyed with younger self
americasblueeyedgirl: hahaha
scoobygurl18: and I would probably slap myself and say shut the hell up, geez

Around that time a thunderstorm rolled in and thunder was shaking the house, so I had to shut everything down. It got pretty intense for a minute, but nothing compared to the tornadoes that has been twirling around earlier this year. I wish we had a chance to talk more last night.

Today will be spent with my husband, and then at work.
