The waiting game

Thank you all, for your support and prayers.  It feels so good to know i can come here  with whatever’s going on in my little brain and let it out!!  *BIG HUGS to you all*

I really don’t know much about j’s appt yesterday.  He said that the doc told him his bloodwork had “changed” and the doctor called another specialist in Atlanta while j was there yesterday.  When i talked to him, he was trying to get all his referrals straightened out (that’s military insurance for ya!) so he could make the appt.  His doc wants him in before the end of the week.

And in these parts, getting sent to a doc in Atlanta is like  a mixed blessing because it means the docs around here are stumped (and there are some pretty good dr’s around here!).  But…i’ve seen some awesome care from what has to be some of the healthcare’s finest in Atlanta.

And…that’s about all i know right now.

The waiting’s excruitiating.  I can’t even imagine how he must feel…

What? Military insurance is no better than civilian insurance when it comes to referrals? That’s a fine how-do-you-do! The above was an attempt to lighten the tension; I hope it worked. Here’s hoping it’s nothing and that’s what the Atlanta doctors will tell him.  *crossing fingers and toes*
