It couldn’t happen…but it is!

Wow…i never thought i’d be saying this…but j and i are engaged…again!  And i couldn’t be happier!!!! 

I’d forgotten how fun and corny he is.  And how badly he sings.  And how much he gets me.

We’ve both done a lot of changing– for the better!!  He respects me…and i’d forgotten how important that is!  And he does sooooo many of the small things that matter.  I think we both realize how much we screwed up in the past.  Amazingly, he’s learned when to shut his mouth– and i’ve learned to open mine!!.

I couldn’t believe how nervous he was when he proposed!!  I mean, we’d been discussing it!!  And he didn’t promise me a perfect or wealthy life.  But he did promise me a happy life.  There’s nothing more that this girl could ask for!!

Strange how things feel old and new at the same time.

I’ll write more when  my brain isn’t so fogged– seems i’ve picked up a virus that’s turned into bronchitis (yeah, yippee!!).  And soonly, it’ll be time to go pick my rings up from the jeweler where they’re being sized.
