Here comes a lonnnng, happy day!!

LeeLee has a seven year old son named Micha, who is just too smart for his own good.  Now, keep in mind that he’s only gone to church with his friends on occasion– LeeLee has NO idea where he got this.  But, on their ride to school the other day he said, "Mama, i know what a ‘soul’ is.  It’s an angel that lives inside of you and it never dies."  How incredibly sweet!!

Today’s gonna be a long, but happy day.  First off, it’s Nancy’s bd (Nancy is j’s daughter that he didn’t get to know till she was 19…and MY angel!!!).  I don’t think i mentioned in here that she contacted my mom a month or so ago and got ahold of me and we talked forever!!  She has a bf that she’s been with for a couple of years now who’s ten years older than her and treats her like a queen– just as she deserves!!  AND he’s a doctor…which goes a lonnnnnnnng way to improving her life from growing up in public housing.  But…still…most importantly…he’s good to her.  SOOOOOO…she gets to be the LUCKY recipent of a phone call from me today, singing happy bd (yeah…i should be on American Idol, too!!  NOT!!!).

Then, off to Jordan’s bd party– he turned 7 on Wed.  We went to see him Wed and took a couple of little presents, including some "Pick-up-sticks", which were a big hit.  I didn’t even know they still made them!!  I just hope his little friends show up for his party.  If not, me and Papa will be there, anyway.  His (brilliant) father bought him a BB gun…for a seven year old…i don’t get it…

After that, i get to go to LeeLee’s baby shower.  I’m not much of a "get together with tons of women i don’t know" kind of person,  but i LOOOOVE baby showers– everything’s sooooo cute!!!  And LeeLee’s soooo excited about having a little girl!!  And actually, she looks like she could have that little girl annnnny day now!!

And THEN…i think i’m gonna have to hurry home and take a nap because Chant and Bailey got in town last night and they wanna come to "Rappie’s" house (that’s what Bailey calls me!) ’cause, as Chant explained to his mama, "They have two computers to play games on and i get to drink chocolate milk."  Awwwwwwwww!!!!

So, i’d  best get my lazy self up from here and get busy…i think it’s gonna be a long, happy day!!
