The Name Game

THE NAME GAME
I’m supposed to write the first things that pop into my mind when I see these names. I got this from Flaming Penguin, who got it from ~*Angel_of_Death*~, ages and ages ago. But I couldn’t resist.

Jack: The attorney who works in our satelitte office. He always feels so left out of the loop.

James: That kid back in high school that I told off because he broke Megan’s heart.

Chris: Guy from my neighborhood, percussionist who was really arrogant and annoying.

Heather: Two of them Ex-best friend, although maybe she was never really a friend. She told my ex when I lost my virginity. And my OD friend who just moved and is now back in ODLand, which I’m so glad for!

Ryan: This guy I’ve known since 1st grade, who is really crazy and out there, but one of the coolest people I know. He plays trumpet and he kidnaps me late at night to go to the diner and watch mystery science theater.

Samantha: Some chickie from high school, in a lower grade than I was, who was really stuck up and annoying. Nothing else really.

Beth: One of my mom’s best friends from college. She was like a second mom to me growing up and I love talking to her.

Danny: Oohh…..Danny was Matt’s brother. Matt was probably the first guy I loved and he died of cancer. Danny and I both went through a really hard time with that. What made it worse was Danny fell in love with me, and I wasn’t sure and it was a regular old soap opera. Danny eventually joined the Army, got sent overseas and never came back home. He was in real deep with classified stuff and it was tough cause he couldn’t tell me where he was or when he was gonna be home. He would show up at my house unexpectedly ever once in a while when he was home and then he’d be off again. It was hard, really hard, when he died.

Kelly: A girl I knew from jr. high school that I still hang out with sometimes. She is really tall and understands the frustrations with finding a boyfriend who is tall.

Stephanie: There was a Stephanie in my grade who was short and an amazing gymanist. She was popular, blonde, and somewhat annoying, but generally a pretty sweet girl.

Michelle: Crazy Michelle. She and I were in love with Sailor Moon’s boyfriend, Darin, in 7th and 8th grade and everyone thought we were nuts. She was crazy, pretending to fly and be absolutly off the wall. She played clarinet too. But she went to a different high school and I never see her anymore. 🙁

Stacy: I don’t know any Stacy’s. The only one I can think of is that character from Babysitter’s Club. She had diabetes and her mom married Mary Ann’s dad. Wow, I’m pathetic.

Teresa: My loud mouthed next door neighbor

Russ: I changed it from Russell, cause I don’t know any Russell’s My smile, my happiness – Russ is the guitar player from heaven with shoes like Bert and the sweetest disposition in the world. He has been refered to as “the son in my divorce from Manny.” He always wanted us to get back together, like a kid who was convinced Mom and Dad would make up. But he’s come around….god, I love that kid.

Jacob: Megan’s boyfriend. And I swear if he breaks her heart I will break his nose. If I’m leaving with a broken heart you’re leave with a bleeding nose Cheating ~ Jettingham

Phillip: PHILLIPS! Ok, so I tacked on the S, but I had the best history teacher my junior and senior year. He wasn’t just a teacher, but a friend and a mentor. He really made a difference in my life those last two years. He was great, cause he was hooked into the grapevine in our high school. He knew who liked who, who broke up, when, who hooked up and when. I swear, he knew more about our lives than we did sometimes. And his parting line each Friday “Have a good weekend and don’t get arrested!”

Jake: That really cute kid from Vassar I met the other week. He’s spent the last year studying in London and we got to talking. He was such a sweetheart. **sigh**

Adam: Awwww, there was this diarist over at TOD that I became somewhat attached to named Adam. I called him my smile for the longest time cause he would leave notes that always made me grin. I wonder where he is now….?

Brian: Too many Brians………….I know like 5 or 6, but the main two are my brothers
1)My big brother – I need to make amends with him and have a good sit down talk with that boy.
2)My little brother – I miss him so much, we’ve been so busy lately. He’s a big part of the reason why I can go back into music. He’s way to smart for his age and mature and if he wasn’t my little brother, I’d marry him.
Let me clarify something here for a moment. Neither of those guys are biologically related. They are such a big part of my life, they have reached family status with me.

Nick: One of my kids….**tear**…..He was the oldest of three children that I started babysitting years and years ago. They were my kids. He is now a senior in high school and all grown up. I feel so old

Tasha: Don’t know any!!

Sarah: My mom’s best friend’ daughter. We spent a lot of time as kids playing together so our moms could talk. I remember we used to play with Barbies and go “hiking” in my backyard when we were little.

Amanda: My seventh grade teacher’s daughter – My whole 7th grade went on a field trip to a museum and they broke us into groups. My group leader was Mrs. L and her daugher, Amanda, came too. Amanda and I were the only girls in our group so we bonded quickly. She’s my age, but went to the other jr. high and the other high school, so I only see her occassionally. We always had a lot of fun together.

Richard: Megan’s ex-boyfriend who is going thruogh a lot of crap right now, and not really making life easier for her, but…..thats another entry. He is also the father of Megan’s two beautiful daughters, Kendall and Kaydence.

Troy: The little brother of my “little sister” from high school. I remember when they were both born and Kimmie became a big part of my life in high school. Troy though is a little stuck-up and egotistical.

Wes: Kid in sixth grade who everyone said liked me and would always pick me for kickball.

Linda: One of the women I work with. She’s the senator’s secretary and she is on feisty old lady. She’s hysterical and I love her!

Bridgette: Only Bridgette I know used to work in the bookkeeping office of the firm, but then she mysteriously disappeared and no one knows where she went. Those who do know ain’t telling.

Tim: My ex. My first true love relationship. The first guy to really seriously break my heart. He told me he loved me and then he took it back. He told me he never loved me. If we had just broken up, move
