….a smile from a friend in the hallway.

….knowing that I made someone smile.

….knowing that someone looks forward to seeing me again.

….being able to ask questions and not be called stupid.

….being able to have discussions and hear ideas with other people who will hear my ideas too.

….having flowers in my room from someone who cares about me.

….going out with my “boys” and having a good time.

….discussions that lead me to learn new things or see something in a different way.

….doing things that expand my mind and push the boundaries of what I know.

….watching a sunset on the river.

….watching someone’s face as they listen to some new music, seeing their reaction.

….helping someone figure something out and seeing their look when recognition takes place.

….seeing someone’s face when they are really really happy to see you.

….soft kisses – on the nose, on the forehead, on the neck – those gentle soft kisses

….being told I look pretty when I spent time putting makeup and pretty clothes on.

….being surprised – lovely little surprises, like fresh flowers or a new look.

….when someone tells me they’ve been thinking about me.

….when someone tells me they missed me.

….when someone is honest with me, even brutally honest.

….getting to know someone new, little by little and finding out different things about them, little by little.

….coming back from an absense and finding out someone noticed I was gone.
