Far Behind ~ Candlebox

The song starts off with a single guitar and a soft vocal. The drum comes in, making a slow build to more intesity. You can hear the regret and pain in his voice, but there is also an acceptance of what he did and what happened.
The first part of the song fits me pretty perfectly. My friends were there for the good stuff, but most abandoned me for the hard times. And the hard times were really bad. But I lived though it all. The chorus and second verse is pretty much how I feel about my ex. I treated him really bad but now I realize it. And I can play the maybe game as well as anyone. But I’ve accepted what happened and I’m getting past it, like the emotion is the singer’s voice.
