My Happy Canada D-eh
Jeff had asked me to go to Vernon to go see some car racing event, so we met up at the Verse which is our usual meeting place. He pulled up next to me and whistled hehe. My parents had thought it was too early for me to drive a long distance, I kinda agreed that I have only had my license for a month and a half. I probably could have done it just fine anyways.
Well, we ended up meeting up with Joe and Kelsey at Kelly O’s, then after that we went up to Loonies for a few games of pool. Joe was feeling sick so he headed home and we ended up going to his place for a bit. I had to pee after we left his place so we hit up the Verse on the way back down the hill, and Rob had gotten off work early so then we all headed over to Loonies again to meet up with Kelly. FINALLY we had rounded everyone up, and we went over to the reserve to find a good place to watch the fireworks. We ended up on the red bridge with a ton of other ppl, I hate that bridge it queers me out to no end. Everytime someone drives over it the whole damn thing shakes.
When the fireworks were going I found myself paying more attention to him than them of course lol. It’s hard to keep my focus on other shit when I’m with him. Early in the evening when we were waiting in our cars outside the Verse, waiting for Rob to come out, Joe was talking to Jeff and Joe was saying that Jeff was getting his woman to drive him around everywhere. When he said that I felt weird. Nothing has been said yet, but we pretty much are together, only we haven’t admitted it to ourselves yet. I’m not quite sure where we stand but it’s so obvious how we feel about each other I don’t know why we can’t just admit it and get it over with.
I like the fact that he’s not like every other guy who pretty much has his dirty hands all over me from the get-go. Jeff has been very gentlemanly and respectful which I appreciate. He opens doors for me, offered me his arm when we were walking, and generally treats me like a lady which is something most guys just don’t do. Our personalities and interests mesh well too. I like guns and want to learn how to shoot someday so he’ll prob end up teaching me. I’ve digressed a bit, back to my Canada Day story.
After the fireworks we went to Boston Pizza where we had the most stuck up cunty waitress of all time. She was like a mini Paris Hilton with an attitude to match. I was like, ok bitch. You make $8/hr. I make 3x as much as you, shove the attitude up your ass. When she putting Jeff’s iced tea on the table she didn’t even say excuse me, she’d just do it so rudely, which pissed me off. Nobody is gonna be rude to Jeff when I’m around, thank you very much. So I was already pissed off at her when Rob and Kelly’s pizza came and it was terrible. The waitress asked if everything was ok and I told her that their pizza tasted like shit. She just turned on her heel and walked away. When she came back a few minutes later and asked if everything was ok, I told her again that they were just disatisfied with their pizza, she offered to get them a new one but I just said all they wanted was for someone to know that it wasn’t good, and that was fine. Once again she turned on her heel like a snotty bitch and stormed away. By that time we were all irritated as fuck by her bad attitude so she only got like a buck in tips from the 6 of us. I had to pay with debit so everyone went outside and Jeff waited with me. As soon as the debit went through, I turned on my heel and stormed away just like her lol. Apparently she gave me the third of her ‘evil dirty looks’ like she kept doing when I told her that the pizza was shitty. Jeff just stood there and gave her the death glare back at her, and when she realized it she scurried away lol. Tee hee. We make a good team. We both have the bad attitudes and we’re not afraid to use them.
Anyways we both have the day off today so I think we’re gonna do something later. Yay. I know it’s sappy but since we started hanging out he’s been the last thing I think about and the first thing I think about when I get up. It’s weird.
