Dead Man’s Hand

I lost my mind, in the last oasis before the earth touches the sky. Lost it all with the dead man’s hand, nothing now to bet on save my soul and it’s my big blind.  Pony up the money before it all goes away fuck saving onto it for a rainy day. Nothing Will save me from the way this will all turn out.

Walking about my room I wonder what it would be like to just see the sun comming through the clouds. I found it wasn’t as miraculous as i thought. Turn it around and it hand it back to us, life love i’ll take it all back. You havn’t won yet i have one last card to play aces and eights will lead me to my grave.

I gave it everything i had did i read him wrong. It’s always so much easier to tell you when i’m singing it in a song. Came home empty handed once again can’t bet on life it’s a no win situation, it’s just fustration coursing through me now. Try to give you the best of me and you just take it and run. Thats my luck, Hun i still love you. There is nothing above now but the stunning stars lost in the brillance of the night.

Fuck that, I’ll fight for that. This wont end untill I’m done. Give me something for hanging in there. Just a little respect is all we ask for. Can’t just give it has to be earned have to stop asking when is it my turn. You have to learn that sometimes You just can’t win at life, just can’t beat the house.
