Uh, chief. Go back to Roman times. Sunday = sun, Monday = moon. Saturday = Saturn day. Tuesday = Zeus day. You can look to the Norse gods for Wednesday (Woden’s day = Odin’s day), Thursday = Thor’s Day, and Friday = Freya’s day.
