What I learned in college: my inspiration

    College is so much more then just getting an education so you can get a job and go out into the world…it’s about maturing and growing as a person. Realizing that the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement. Learning that everyone has things about themselves that need to change. It doesn’t matter how much you really might think that you know it all, or you are capable of doing everything that your parents have ever done…
    It’s about realizing that life is hard work, to get somewhere  you have to try, and you have to never give up.
    Learning that that moving to new places isn’t scary: it’s fun! It’s exciting! It’s an adventure, and that life is an adventure to enjoy, every day. So many people are scared of trying new things, scared of change, scared that everything might go wrong if they make a change.
    But what if it didn’t go wrong? What if everything went RIGHT?! What if you did something, or tried something really out of character and you had FUN?! What if instead of staying in the same place your whole life, you went somewhere totally different…met people that were different from everything you had ever known?
    College is about finding yourself, learning about yourself, knowing what you are capable of, knowing what you can’t change about yourself, learning to love yourself, and learning that the most important thing in life is to have fun living life every day.
