See! I’m still alive

So it’s been about a month since I’ve updated and honestly, nothing really two exciting has changed. I just haven’t felt like updating, partically because I totally jinxed myself on getting the car in the previous entry, I knew that would happen. The bank told Shawn they would give us it if we trade in the truck, and honestly we’ve only had the truck for 2 months so why would we do something stupid like that.

I did however, sell my van on Tuesday. I totally loved my van, but it honestly wasn’t practical for the family anymore. It was hard going to and from school in that gas guzzler, plus the truck isn’t the best on gas either, so it was just the right time to sell. I didn’t even have betsy the van for a year, would have been a year on the 13th of April. The good news is, I went yesterday (Wednesday) and bought a new car. I ended up settling on a 2002 Nissan Altima. It was about $2000 over our price range, but we thought long-term. Nissan last longer then ford, or chevy, and it’s a nice car. We were trying to talk the guy down $500 but he couldn’t. So instead, he lowered our interest rate, as well as added a new side mirror and back passenger side brake light since there was condenstation in the actual light. I should be getting it next Thursday, it has to go for a mechanical since it needs new tires, brakes, control arm, routers and a few other things.

So here are some bullets on to what has been happening.

• I am first aid qualified
• I only have 6 more days of school til placement
• Last week the entire house was sick with some sort of flu
• My brother’s gf moves in this weekend
• Shawn applied for management, no word on that yet
• Cooper has mastered walking, and hes so tiny when he walks so he looks adorable
• Maxim is going through a growth spurt, seriously my kid is huge.
