Done School..Finally! *E

First of all, after 29 weeks, 750 hours, I am done school. I wrote my NACC (National Association of Career Colleges) exam on Friday and I do believe that I passed. I know I got about 5/6 wrong for sure, there might be more but you never know. I am however working part-time/casual at P, but for the month of July I only have 3 scheduled shifts which won’t get me very far money wise. The good thing, which is the main reason I came on here to write that I had a job interview today for a home-care company. It isn’t BS the one I did my placement with but WC. I believe the interview went great, "A" the head of client services was amazing, she honestly made me feel so comfortable and it felt like I have known her my entire life. The pay isn’t as high as I thought it be, but just having that interview with a lady like "A", makes me want to work with this company even more. I asked if there is opportunities to move up in the company (working in management) and she said there is, so that is good to know. When the interview was done she said she would get back to me either tomorrow or Friday, she just had to check on my references. I actually haven’t had a formal interview in about 4 years, before I had Maxim when I was waitressing out at Rockies, all the other jobs I’ve had since then have been pretty much given to me before I even applied. It feels good to have totally rocked out a interview in my field.

Onto the kids. Cooper got his first haircut on the 22nd, and now he looks like a little man and not my little girl. He did so well when he got his haircut. We went to first choice to get it down, and he sat on my mom the entire time and didn’t cry whatsoever, which was awesome.

Cooper also got baptized on the 24th of June at the church where Shawn and I were married, where Maxim was baptised as well as myself. He did amazing throughout the whole ceremony. The ceremony was incoperated with Church service so he didn’t start to get cranky til communion time, which is pretty much the end of church.

Maxim is going through a pretty rough phase, the biting phase. In all honest, I haven’t gotten a clue what to do about his biting. The only person he bites though is Cooper. He’ll leave marks on Cooper to the point where they turn into bruises. I’ve tried biting him back, giving him time outs, taping his bum, nothing is working. I don’t give Cooper more attention, I try and give Maxim more attention and he wants nothing to do with me, so I don’t know whats next for him.

Shawn threw me a birthday party on the 23rd, for my 24th birthday. It was my champange birthday since I was turning 24 on the 24th. I ended up getting way to drunk for my own good. I polished off 2 bottles of wine, about 10-15 jello shooters, plus a few screwdrivers, and then we went to the bar and I had more alcohol there. I remember walking home from the bar and laughing at myself the entire way home because I was concentrating so hard on walking straight, but for the life of me I was failing horribly at it. Then I remember walking into the house and the whole world spinning so I had decided to take a nap on my kitchen floor, and that was the last thing I remember. The next thing I knew it was 8:30am and I was in bed, still don’t know how I managed to get myself into bed, nor do I remember going to bed, but I ended up there, with Shawn telling me that he didn’t even hear me come in the house. I woke up with no hangover thank god, but a visit from Aunt Flo, who might I add hasn’t paid a visit in over 2 months so I felt horrible due to the cramps. Story of my life. Now I don’t know what else to say.

The kids and I are hanging out in the A/C house today, it’s way to hot to bring them out, they get overly cranky in the heat and I don’t wish to have to deal with two cranky little boys in public.

I sent the girl who interviewed me a thank you email, and she emailed me back a minute later offering me the job…
I GOT THE JOB!!!!
