Walk up the stairs second key will let you into the apartment…lost

You want to write down the way every thing felt the smells the sounds the way his lips are insanely kissable..oh his eyes..oh how he told you every morning how beautiful you are..(even with eye crustiness and your hair sticking up) how the first time he kissed you in the car he said “I’m sorry, you’re just too beautiful”

You want to catalog every breath shared between you, and every movie you didn’t finish and how it felt like you were never going to leave..how he squeezed your hand as you took the exit to jfk. How you turned around to watch him as the escalators took you away slowly..how he cried when he couldn’t see you anymore..

You lingered there at the gate, thinking you could turn back until they said “this is the final boarding call for flight 307 to los angeles” You were the last one on the plane. And when you sat down, wearing his sweater you cried..from take off until you fell asleep.

And then you land in los angeles, and hour early..and the first thing you do is call him to tell him you love him.

Everyday feels like years since you touched. And now we have a new count down.
