What Next?

So my group has pretty much bunkered in at the area we’re in now. Things don’t look great, and we’re wondering what the right course of action is. We’re the cheif medical site, but there are three other heavily guarded buildings that we, the inmates, are now protecting. The thing is, when your food is rationed out daily by the Wardens, and then they suddenly vanish at the first sign of trouble, food becomes a fiercely fought over commodity. We have enough for a little while, but how long?

I often find myself asking why these ninjas are attacking our facility. What would they have to gain from taking it? What would they gain by forcing it from us instead of letting us share it with them? These questions haunt me every day, but when I see the amount of bloodshed I’m seeing now, they really take the forefront.

I don’t really have anyone in particular to talk about it to, either. Sir Nuttor is too worried about how to better defense our position. Ren is busy managing our position and determining our next course of action. Jonas… I don’t like to talk to Jonas about why people kill. Even Cross sits at the edge of our position, staring up at the rooves of the buildings, chain-smoking cigarettes. He prefers to smoke alone, and he prefers to smoke often, I’ve found. Doughb0y is a great ear, but he’s near death and on the other end of the compound.

Hmmm… If I’m feeling this way, there must be others who are also feeling down. Perhaps what I can do to distract myself from feeling this way is to distract others from feeling this way. If morale is lost than we lose all hope, and the war is over. Come to think of it, it’s Every-other Tuesday! I totally forgot about that! I’m going to down a glass of water and run a discussion. I’m feeling better already!

Perhaps you should start a book club while you’ve got all this down time. You know, discuss the literary classics. It’s be good for you.

Thas rite…once u loose the morale…u have lost everything…its too dificult then in a team. If you get defeated in mind..then the war is over for you. May be the Ninjas want their own writ to run all over this place..and not sharing

RYN: Thanks for your notes..I must say it looks like you have good knowledge of eastern Philosphy..you named Arjuna so aptly…that its him. I think teresa continued to do her karma…even of her self doubts..that every human will go through..however ‘blessed’ people may call anyone. Arjuna was just told that his worries are non-existent..nothing is bigger worship then to follow one’s karma
