Awww! Hang in there. My first novel, which I’m in the process of editing, was written in a tense I didn’t like for the whole first third. I went back and fixed it a little at a time. It’s shaping up, you know? So, just switch to the voice that you want and fix it all later. This is just the complete first draft.

RYN: You know, when you were born there weren’t a lot with the name Bishop Monkey, but E-Knievel has TWO of them at school. Sometimes you think you’ve got an unusual name, and then you read the parenting magazine to find out it was the 4th most popular name the year your kid was born, (like we did).
