Update on that long list – resolutions..
No 1 .. the issue which was quite challenging seems to be slowly resolving itself, and we are back texting.. maybe apologies might be offered tomorrow (No 41).
This is Oneroa main street (Ocean View Road) on a quieter moment over the summer holidays… taken from the exact spot where I catch the bus.
I had a delayed fatigue reaction to my 70 kms walking from last Saturday to Tuesday. So was buggered Wednesday and Thursday (yesterday).. this has led to me reviewing No 37. I’ll only proceed with this Cape Reinga to Bluff walk in October if I can get a lot fitter between now and say end of June. So I’ll need to keep up with No 4 (gym attendance).
This one I put on FB the other day. Not bad for a selfie….!
This one was affected by the early morning sun streaming in, but there are my latest dot paintings mingled with my medals from Rotorua and Dublin last year. I’m quite obsessed with dots. I have about 10 more in progress in the art studio. I buy recycled canvasses and paint over them. I bought one today at the SPCA op shop for $1.
And this is a blast from the past…. Brisbane 2007… lovely city
Otherwise my continual battle with the ‘garden’ occupies about half an hour a day. I’ll take some pics of the jungle and show you what the problem is !!!
Over and out for now.
Hey! I once took a process painting class (process your emotions through painting) and I painted dots. Seriously! I like dot paintings too and yours are very nice. Love the photo of Ocean View Road!

RYN: I was not clever enough to paint dot paintings like you do. I just painted dots for the sand in an ocean scene that I painted. No, I no longer have the painting. I held on to it for many years (and others) but ended up throwing them away. I sure wish I wouldn’t have. I hope you are having a great day Rocky! I really like your dot paintings. Interesting fact – dot painting is called Pointillism. Yes, it’s got a special name and there are some beautiful dot paintings that famous artists have done. Dot painting used to be ridiculed but no longer is.

Hey! I love your dot paintings. I’ve done abstract paintings lately and I had one hang in my living room. Just love it! Love your colorful T-shirt there, Rocky! Oh, yeah! You rock! hehehe …

You have a very long list of resolutions it seems.. I need to go back and find it! With all the OD problems I have missed so much … Brisbane is a lovely city.. I miss the occasional visit there. RYN are you a smooth or crunchy kind of guy? I am mostly smooth but like crunchy for satays ..

ryn: hmmm….I do impressions of people that I know in real life. No famous people. Years ago, I used to do an impression of an american actress named Kristy MacNicholl, but I did her with a lisp. hmmm….I am really pondering this, & shall add an impression to my repertoire forthwith. You? 🙂 so…..did you all apologize & hug it out already? I dig the dots! Happy Day, BSHG! 🙂

ryn: I agree. And desires have to be fresh – fresh from the Farmer’s Market, not the canned goods aisle. Oh! I think I’d go to New Zealand with even less than $108 000., ha 🙂
