Will You Marry Me?

I normally don’t like beer commercials, but this Bud light one was pretty interesting.

This guy and this girl are having dinner and he wants to surprise her by having the waiter present her a chocolate cake. He’s like, “I know how much you like chocolate cake and all”. She responded by saying, “Yes I will marry you!” Turns out, the restaurant people had misplaced the order because in the background, there’s another couple but the guy is pointing at his hand because the cake doesn’t have the ring on it. What’s even worse is that the guy who gave his date that ring had only gone out with her for 2 weeks.

Also, there was a Dish network commercial where this girl was looking at an advertisement for Dish. She was looking in the general direction of a driver in a yellow convertible. He thinks she’s looking at him and opens the door for her to get in. The only problem is that a greyhound like bus proceeds to destroy the passenger car door.

Anyway, isn’t it interesting how things can change so quickly? It feels that I don’t have any close lil sisters anymore (online at least). Britt and I used to be sooo close; she was very protective of me and we could talk for hours. Now, she’s hardly ever on and that closeness isn’t there anymore. She’s moving to Hawaii this Thursday and sadly, we haven’t met yet even though we live in the same state. Sad huh?

My weekend was unproductive. One of the things I love to do is be on the comp while studying and listening to music. However, it’s easy to lose your concentration when hearing a ballgame of some sort. I tried to do that today without my headphones but that didn’t work.

Friday, my parents and my two nieces went out to El Charo’s and I had to drop off a book at the library. After that, I hitched a ride with my neighbors and went to Eastside. That night, we played Loganville and beat them 20-10 :-). Also that night, I spent a lot of money on others because they didn’t have any money so I shared the wealth ^_^.

Saturday, I spent the day with my friend Trey. He was hungry too and didn’t have any money so I paid for him and myself that evening.

Today, I talked to liz and she’s giving away her poodle to me and my sister. We’re going by there next Saturday and stuff. That will be the first time we’ve seen each other since that “Night”.

Speaking of next Saturday, I am officially testing for my third degree. I’m actually going to do it in two phases: first, I’m sitting on the panel of black belt judges for the first part of the test until the black belt curriculum comes up in the test. These tests usually last from 4-8 hours. The timing depends on how many are going for jr. black, 1st. degree, and 2nd degree. Also, we have to consider any time that is spent on those testing to do an item over again. After that, my instructor has to schedule a time with his instructor for the final phase of the test. If all goes well, I should have my third degree by the end of the month.

And finally…

Worked for me!
