Second

Today was a lazy day somewhat. Trey came over to hang out for a few hours, and then I fixed hamburger helper for lunch. After Saturday’s attempt at grilling, I figured I would attempt to grill again.

I didn’t want to wait until tomorrow because I have my internship at 680 the fan radio station. My role is pretty simple: I’ll video tape various segments during the 12-3 show. I’ll then upload those vids to the company’s official youtube page. I’ll do that every Wednesday.

Tomorrow will be my second time there, and I’m looking forward to it. I’ve had the chance to see how a radio show is produced and all that goes with it. It’s actually pretty neat, and the dress code is pretty much jeans and a regular shirt.

With Atlanta traffic, I probably wouldn’t get home until after 5. That’s when I made the decision to go ahead and grill a couple of patties and the rest of the hot dogs.

This time, I purchased 80/20 ground beef and made sure the patties were thicker. After I made the patties, I put them in the fridge to chill for an hour or two. Then, I placed the patties on the grill. I also decided to grill the burgers slower and really paid more attention to where the coals were. To my surprise, the patties didn’t break apart, and they turned out to be delicious!

Anyway, it’s nearly 2 a.m., and I gotta get up early in the morning! Have a great day everyone.
