Safe

After the last entry, I formulated a plan to get back ASAP to make sure no one took my things. I would drive back up here by myself and lock my door. I figured that my room would be safe as long as the central door was locked.

I left around 1:15 and got picked up by my mom around 2:15. Then, I got home after 3 and took the Cavalier and drove back up to Atlanta. I was driving pretty fast, and I made it to my dorm safe and sound. I quickly got out of the car and ran up here as fast as possible. I opened up the living room door, and then opened my door; thankfully, nothing had been taken. To be on the safe side, I had hid my PS2 in a “secret” place :-P.

Anyway, after a little traffic jam on 75/85 South, I made it back home safely. Before that, I stopped at El Charo to eat. I must say that the drivers in Atlanta can be quite slow. It sucks when a driver is about this far from the next one:

Also, you have people going 70 in the fast lane and holding up traffic. Some people are stubborn and won’t yield for slow traffic. That means, people have to get over in the other lanes just to pass them *sighs*.

Anyway, I’m living on change right now. I had $5 in pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters. I also had $1 for milk, chips, and laundry. A load of laundry is $1 and $.75 for drying. I still haven’t gotten my haircut either *sighs*. Oh well. Anyway, I’m going to go. Have a good Wednesday evening.

ryn: i finished reading the bloody thing last week… i have an essay on it due on Thursday, a creative project due on Wednesday, and I think I have a test on Thursday or Monday or something too. At least I don’t have to read it again… ugh. what an awful book. maybe i’ll post my essay on it just to torture people, lol hugs,

=)

i wish i could help u out w/the money situation. it’s also sad that u have to be that careful so that people don’t steal from you. i’d be majorly ticked!

the beltway is a main strip of road… it’s a 4 line highway on each side, there is an inner and outter loop and it circles our major cities… there is one around baltimore(where i live) and one around washington dc… if you pull up a map, you’ll see a stretch of road that circles each city… that’s the beltway, fastest way to get around up here 🙂

people usually travel at 55-70 mph and ur very close to eachother… trackor trailers drive it a lot too my mom is afraid of the high speeds…trakor trailers and the closeness to eachother. i, drive it fine 🙂

sounds like fun.. yeah for the fact that you still have your ps2!!

I’m glad nothing was stolen. When I was in college I’d always hide my expensive items just in case.

RYN: I’m so glad it wasn’t tragic…I don’t like the idea of someone dying in the store. ~Sarah And the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rock. Heroes in a Half-Shell!
