My b-day and Christmas

Yesterday was okay because something unexpected happened: my mom had injured herself. I was waken up by Aerial around 9 in the morning. I then saw that my mom was sitting down on the bottom steps. What happened was that her, Aerial, and Amber were coming down the steps at the same time and her right leg went out from under her. She ended up missing the next to the last step and hurt her knee. From there, she couldn’t put any weight on her right knee so it became a task just to walk. My dad later came and helped me put her on the couch. Then, we struggled to get her up the stairs into her bedroom. By this point she was crying because of the pain. When she finally got in her chair, she was fine for a little while until she had to go to the bathroom. The bathroom is about 4-6 feet from the chair; that would take less than 30 seconds to get to the bathroom from the chair, but it took her a while just to go to the bathroom. I had to grab a strong stick from the outside for a crutch.

During this time, my dad and I were putting together my new computer chair. My chair has armrests, height adjustment, back adjustment, padded and VERY comfortable. It’s an Executive Chair and I love it. I’m going to take my other chair back to my dorm room with me.

Eagle All-Stars (Vector) called me yesterday informing me of my training. Thanks to a few people, I am not going to work for that company. I talked to Sarah (Voices in the Sky) and she told me of her experience at Vector. Her story convinced me not to work for them. Hehe I told them we would be out of time until next week ^_^.

Anyway, my mom was doing much better as the day wore on. However, while I was talking to Laura, my sister and my mom wanted to know if I wanted to go out for my birthday; I said yes :-). My dad wasn’t here yet so we decided to wait for him. When my sister and I tried to help my mom get through the door, she had a lot of trouble so my sister said that we should go to the ER room.

We got there around 5:30 but my sister and my mom didn’t get home until around 9 *shakes head*. The doctor said that she just have a sprain and she should be fine in three days. My dad took me and my two nieces to McDonalds.

The rest of the night was spent hanging out and helping my sister wrap up gifts. I also thought of some things I find interesting. I might even write an entry or two on them.

I went to bed close to 1 because I was getting very sleepy. The power went out during the middle of the night (grrrrrrrrrrrrr). I reached for my watch and it said it was 5:21. I ended up waking back up at 8:30 thanks to my dad. We just finished unwrapping gifts about 2 hours ago. I got some new pants, dress and jeans, a couple of church clothes and casual clothes. I love everything I got :-). That’s about it.

Hope Everyone is having a Great Christmas!
