I might be wrong…
Last night, I read that text I hate Between Two Epochs. Boy was I surprised. I could actually understand what the author was writing. Perhaps the further in the book you go, the easier it is to understand.
My classes are going pretty well so far. Over the weekend, I was going to spend more time studying but that was spent playing games. I did manage to make questions out of the text I’ve read in my classes so far; if I can answer those without looking up the answers, then I feel I will know the material pretty well. I will do that kind of thing on the weekend. The purpose is to do a weekly review on the weekends that will incorporate all my material. I need to get in the habit of cataloging the lecture notes immediately after class.
Last week was pretty cool. I met two people I used to go to high school with: John “Iddiiiiot” Thornton, and Lindsey Barbour. I call John “Idddiiiot” because we used to call each other that in Physics (boy did I hate that class; the professor was more interested in sports than teaching). He used to call me that too. Anyway, he was a junior and I was a senior so it was pretty cool seeing him. Lindsey is in my Global Issues class. She graduated a semester early and went to Oglethorpe College before transferring to GSU last spring. You know how in college you see people that look familiar to you because they have that face or whatever? I kept looking at Lindsey and I was like, ‘hey Lindsey!’. Hehe tis cool.
Labor Day was spent working on making questions for the text. My sister cooked hamburgers and fries so that was good. So there wasn’t much to write about that day.
I haven’t written this up, but here’s my routine: On MTWR, I wake up at 7 each day (I might start waking up at 6:30 on M and W because my bathmate, Justin, wakes up the same time I do). On MW, I wake up 2 hours before my class and 1:30 before I need to leave. So if my class is at 9, I have to leave at 8:30; I wake up at 7. On TR, I wake up at 7 and leave at 9. I spend the first 30 minutes doing the usual morning stuff; the next 30 minutes are spent fixing and eating breakfast; the last 30 minutes are spent on the net. It has worked for me because I don’t feel rushed.
Fall is nearing! ^_^
I’ve found, when I read my English Lit texts, that the book usually gets more interesting as you read into it more. Usually, it’s just the first chapter and a half thats kind of boring! I have to start getting up at 6:30am for College next week, gah!!!

Hope the classes continue to go well for you… I start back tomorrow… After a week off, I’m kind of liking the free time but it’s starting to get boring so I’m glad to be going back in a way. Take care…

Hey Joe, Thanks for the note on Young Author. I’m glad you liked the new part. I’m amazed at how lazy I was about getting it up. I’m already working on the rest of the chapter tho, so it hopefully should be up by the end of this week or beginning of next week. Well gotta go. Ttyl, Lizzie
