Great News

My modem problems have been solved by my brother-in-law. He figured out what the problem was. He determinded that the phone was the reason why my modem never reported a dial tone. Before he put in a call to technical support, he noticed that there was noise in the phone line. After calling the technical support person, he went to the den and came back with a long phone cord. He plugged the modem into another phone jack and now I’m connected back to the internet! I would like to get a glare thingy for this comp and the headphones.

I was very annoyed today because my mom dragged me to my cousin’s house and we spent the day with her. It was alright though; I was able to get online at her house. I really dislike her comp because the monitor is very small, half of the numbers to the right barely work, the question mark, single/double quotations doesn’t work, the slash buttons don’t work, and the right direction button doesn’t work. Not just that, but I got kicked off like six times. Anyway, I spent time helping liz with her story–book actually, I’ll supply the link to her diary later–and then just surfing the net.

Around 4:30, my sister arrived and we all went to Morrow to go to some philly steak place near Southlake Mall. I had my first ever philly cheese steak sandwich. I have to admit it was pretty good, though I had the pizza steak sandwich; I also had fries from Wendy’s. After that, we headed to Burlington Coat Factory to look around. Amber was being a pain though. I think she was agitated because she couldn’t sleep though. Anywho, I met some people who go to Georgia State. I noticed the parking tag that belongs to Georgia Sate Students.

Then, my sister went back to my cousin’s house to fetch her cellphone. She then told us that she was headed to Jc Penny’s outlet. I HATE that place. Let me explain.

You know how bad the lines are at Wal-Mart Supercenter? It’s a little worse than that. I saw worse because there are hardly any cashiers, the lines are squished together, and they can’t hurridly scan an item. The lines look like this:

1 4 7 10

2 5 8 11

3 6 9 12

The 1-6 is one cubicle like and the same goes for 7-12. Today, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 were operating or something like that. Now, the lines can be soo bad, they can be backed up into the aisles. Also, if someone is using a credit card or check, that takes longer as well. This girl asked me what time it was and I told her it was 8:29. About 30 minutes later, my sister was finally done checking out. I must have sat up front for like 40 minutes. I seriously hate that place.

That’s about it for that. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Lol. I hate how WalMart has like 40 checkout lanes and only has 6 of them open. I went there tonight and waited a good 20 minutes to go through the line with my whole 5 items. What’s the point of buying all the lanes if you’re not going to USE them! RYN: I know that the heat will get to me…but I’ll love it in the winter…I’ll deal with the heat for

no more snow(or only a little bit of it.) I’ve only been here a little over a month though…I’m sure it’ll get worse. Can’t be anyworse than SNOW though. 🙂 Have a good one! Smiles! S*

I know what you mean about that Penney’s store. It’s awful. It’s always loud and crowded and just…yuck.
