Fourth of July

I’m writing on my sister’s computer in the den. I asked my brother-in-law if I could use his computer and he didn’t mind. I have spent the last two hours catching up on faves. I know I promised to begin writing chapter 3 but I discovered another problem. My headphones are messed up.

I’ve had these headphones since Christmas and they were great. They are kinda bulky and provide good ear cushion for those who love to listen to music for a very long time. Also, they can be used like DJs do. Anyway, I loved those headphones but today, I discovered that the small cord that runs into the phones was broke. I can only listen to music on the left headphone and not both. For me, I love to listen to music while I’m writing. I could use the speakers but the comp is in the living room with my dad. As so, I try not to have it up too loud and that doesn’t help me because hearing music in the headphones places me in a kinda zone. The music in the headphones block out all outside noises which helps me to concentrate better. I need to buy new headphones.

For the fourth, I just laid around doing nothing. I woke up, ate breakfast and went to my room to play Devil May Cry. After I finished one level, I turned off the game to go to the living room to watch TV. As it turned out, my sister had just finished cooking a big breakfast so I went to get something to eat. I ate a couple of blueberry muffins, grits, and bacon. After that, I went to the living room to begin working on that story. As I told earlier, I didn’t feel like doing so. So, I crashed in front of the tv and watched the Indians vs. the Yankees. I started to feel sleepy so I went up to my room and took a short hour nap. After I woke up, I spent the next 30 or so minutes just lounging around. The, my sister asked if I wanted to go to Stone Mountain–my sister, brother-in-law, Aerial and Amber are there now–and I said it didn’t matter. I decided not to go and I took the time to catch up on faves. I have finished catching up on faves but I need to go and do some more things on the internet. I will continue using their internet but I won’t be on as much. I will be on when they are at work and get off before evening time. This way, I will be able to keep up with my faves and not fall behind. Hope everyone’s fourth was awesome!
