Today, I went to Radio Shack to find something for my monitor. My brother-in-law suggested I should find the no-glare thingie for my monitor. So, I went to Radio Shack where this associate, Corey, talked to me about this great deal for a laptop.

He told me that he could take 10% off; there would be no payments or interest until next year. In fact, he wanted me to tell my dad to meet him immediately. Instead of getting a haircut, I told my aunt to take me home asap.

When I got home, I told my sister about what Corey said. After that, I told my dad about the offer. We went to Pizza Hut to eat, but while we were eating, my parents and my sister got into a discussion about my having a laptop. They concluded that I would probably lose one or it would be stolen. Anyway, my dad wanted to go comparative shopping to find a better deal for the laptop so off we went to Gateway Country.

Upon our arrival at Gateway, we browsed the various laptop and desktop models. My dad inquiered about particular desktop series and the dealing began. My dad signed up for a 500x desktop. We’re going to have CD burner, the SIMs (I don’t really play that though), and other things. We’re also looking into getting a DVD burner like thing to add on to the software. My dad upgraded it to a 17″ flat screen monitor. After that, my dad told the guy he wanted a flat screen monitor as well. As luck would have it, we were given the last 15″ flat screen monitor to take home with us. As of right now, I’m using that same monitor *smiles*.

In 9 days, the 500x desktop will be at my doorstep. I can’t make this too long because we are waking up early, and I mean EARLY. In fact, we’re going to wake up around 2 a.m. to go to N.C and pick up my niece. She’s not blood related though, just through marriage. It’ll take about 8 hours and 16 round trip. If we leave around three, we’ll get there around noon; then, if we leave around one or two, we’ll get back arund nine or ten respecively. As you can see, I have a busy day ahead of me. Goodnight.
