Daredevil
Valentines Day wasn’t too exciting. Once again, I didn’t have anyone to celebrate it with but I’m not too worried about it. I did see a guy come from a train station with flowers, balloons and one biiiiiiigg card.
The weather here has been peaceful and a little chilly but not bad. I hate it when you wear layers and you feel all hot when you arrive at your destination. Blah it sucks.
I’m going to send the renewal money Monday so no worries. I have an Astronomy test Tuesday on stars. Here’s a little sneak peak at what I will be tested on…
Stellar Parallax can be found by the equation d=1/p. It can be used for stars that are anywhere from 100-1000 pcs away.
Spectroscopic Parallax can be used from 1000 pcs to infinity.
The Sun is an A star. It’s a yellow main sequence star (color index of 1).
Mizar and Alcor (of the Big Dipper) are examples of visual binary stars.
Hehe anyway…
My Sociology professor began the class talking about what GSU is planning on doing if there is a terrorist attack. GSU is located right smack dab in the middle of downtown Atlanta (the site of the NBA All-Star game). She reported that there was no plan if something were to occur. Personally, I try not to think about it. Bush urged us to live our lives as normal as possible.
Today, I saw the Daredevil starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. It was a pretty cool movie but it was kind of slow towards the middle. Anyway, I’m going to go.
yay for sending the renewal money in! and good luck on the test… i’m lost, lol hugs,
