Bruisin’ for a Cruisin’

As you all know, I got my black belt certificate yesterday. However, I only have a temporary third degree and will need to take one more test under my instructor’s instructor sometime soon. Anyway, on to my day.

The test took around 3:30 to complete. That is fast considering how some black belt tests last until 3, 4, or even 5 o’clock (this test ended at 12:30). There were only 5 people testing (not including me) and they were all going for first degree black. The test flew by quickly and we were out before lunchtime :-).

I served on the panel and had to perform the black belt portion of the test. All in all, it was an awesome test.

Next, I came home and asked my mom if she would take me to see Liz. After she agreed, I asked Tori (Liz) if I could come down and she said yes. Well technically her mom did, as long as I helped them with yardwork *giggles*.

The last time I had seen Tori was during my spring break. That meeting went well but something happened and we fought for a few weeks/months because I was hanging on to the past (I never wrote about the meeting either). Anyway, we hugged and her and her mom saw Amber and Aerial; hugs were abound and then my mom got to see the dog Jocelyn will pick up later on:

After that, she showed me her law book and we were just hanging around her room. Things between us are great because we were comfortable around one another and teased each other like old times. Anyway, then my mom wanted to go home but her mom said I could stay. We convinced her it was alright and Tori gave her directions to get home safely. After that, I helped her and her mom move some things and the rest of the evening was great. The only complaint is that her dad went the wrong way to take me home *giggles*. He took the scenic route. Instead of going through jackson and hitting covington, he went through jackson, then monticello, and finally Covington.

All in all, it was a great day :-).
