Romantic Ideas

The first 10 I wrote in my ITW diary, I’m adding additional ideas just for you guys.

1) Get her to close her eyes as you walk her inside your room. You open up her eyes for her to see the room decorated like a dance floor; playing softly in the background will be love songs: one for each month of the year. While each song is playing, you fit your feelings for your signficant other in that month (for instance, if in Jan you knew that your significant other was your soulmate, you could play “Love of my Life”).

2) take her out to the lake and have a picnic on a boat

3) take her out to lunch/dinner/whatever and then have some friends turn the kitchen into a private dinner affair for dessert after your outing.

4) play any kind of game you want. The winner gets to be treated to whatever the loser has in mind.

5) Play a game with him/her on their birthday. Have ’em figure out which card is the right one (each card should be slightly bigger than the other; put them together to reveal the clue for the biggest prize…a kiss from you).

6) Same as #5 except have it a scavenger hunt

7) while she’s away at work/school/whatever, turn her room into a room of memories: have scrapbooks, pictures, videos, and whatever else you can think of. To top it off, put down a rose for every door she must go through to get to that room (use the amount of roses to equal the length of time you two have gone together). For example, if you’ve been dating 12 months and it takes four rooms to get to her room, have 3 in each room.

8) Dedicate a song to her on the radio.

9) Take her to a restaurant and get down on your knees to propose when the food is given to her.

10) (This might not suit some people, but I think it would be cute) slap her butt and place a ring in her back pocket. When she puts her hand in her back pocket, have a note on the ring saying, “Look up”. Present her the engagement ring.

11) (This might make her upset but she will like it). Take the car keys and hide them in a place where you can easily find them. While she’s looking for the car keys, direct her all over the house until she walks into your room with flowers, candy, stuffed animals, and you wearing a bunny costume :-P.

12) Make up an invitation to meet her “secret admirer” @ 6 in the park.

13) Have a desktop with the two of you in it.

14) Just cuddle up and talk about the days events.

15) Remember the old tune of “The itsy bitsy spider”? Play that. Your hand is the spider, and her body is the web.

16) Go outside to a very nice place where there is little disturbance (park would be nice). Wrap your arms around your sweetheart and shout as loud as possible that you love her. Or you could just join hands and run around the park together.

17) Another option for the park. Tell your girlfriend that you are going to the movies together one day. When that day comes, have her close her eyes when you near the park. Park in an isolated spot (if that’s possible) and bring out your portable DVD. Watch movies until it gets dark and lay out a blanket so the two of you can cuddle together and discuss Orion’s belt.

18) On the hood of your car, have the picture of your girlfriend painted on it :-P.

19) When kissing, do it slow and easy. Also, try and recite lines from movies while kissing.

20) Don’t be a butthole :-P.

I wrote these as I went along. These are all things I would do if I was with someone.

*sighs* just some ideas that might be useful.
