An accident

It rained for the first time today in a while; it’s not really raining cats and dogs, but a nice little sprinkle. It was also 80 degrees outside today.

I was in my Sociology class when I felt a little paranoid. I’m usually really good with locking my door before I leave, but I don’t remember physically locking my door. So, to be on the safe side, I decided to leave campus and take the train back to my dorm to make sure everything is alright. It takes about 20 minutes to get to my dorm. I knew beforehand I would be late for my French class but I didn’t care.

I got to my dorm and was relieved my door was unlocked. It was also really warm out so I changed from my jeans to shorts. Anyway, I was about 30 minutes late for my French class *shrugs*.

Yesterday, there was an accident that looked really bad but it really wasn’t. It happened around 7:30 during an event in the Village. Probably about a hundred or more students were hanging out at a program when the accident occured. Nearly everyone, including me, ran to where the accident occured. Apparently, this girl tried a U-Turn without looking to her right. This guy ran smack dab into her. The windshield on the passenger side is kind of messed up, but that’s all I know.

Also, there was a shooting outside of the Village around 2:45 a.m. I think everything will be fine though.

Tomorrow, I’m going to go and see Phonebooth :-). I wanted to see that b/c Keifer Sutherland is in it, and since I love watching 24, I wanted to see it. Plus, from the previews it really looks very interesting. I’ve been going to the movies a lot lately (Drumline, Cradle 2 the Grave and Daredevil) but no one to go with. It’s okay. I usually have fun just watching by myself ^_^. Have a great weekend.
