Alabama vs. Auburn

I thought that I wouldn’t have anything to do this weekend because there was nothing planned for me. On Friday, my sister said that we were going to Birmingham, AL to see the Auburn/Alabama game (her best friend and her husband lived there). Oh yeah, we also ate at the Philly Connection restaurant. I had the pizza steak.

Yesterday, we got together and headed to leave but my dad had left to pay off some bills. We spent about 30 minutes trying to reach him, but my sister decided to just leave. We were supposed to leave Covington around 10:30, but we ended up leaving around 11. We met up with another one of Jocelyn’s old college buddies and her husband; we were off to pick up her husband. After picking him up, we ate at McDonald’s and Chick Fil A. I’m telling you, it’s hard trying to eat a burger, fries and coke without a cup holder :-P.

The ride on the way there was fun because we were laughing so hard at Mike’s, Teresa’s husband, stories. He’s a police officer so we questioned him a lot about his profession. He told us a story when he was giving this fat woman a ticket (she was about 300+ lbs) but she wouldn’t cooperate. They ended up fighting and he had no choice but to hit her.

Anyway, he made calls to my sister’s friend Linda pretending to be a member of a golf charity. This ellicited tons of laughter out of all of us :-). We arrived at their house shortly around 3 Eastern in time to relax before the big game. The game itself was pretty good and everyone, except Mike, was happy that Auburn won. During the game, we ate pizza, breadsticks, and buffalo wings. I only had water with the pizza and breadsticks *smiles*.

We returned back home around 1 something a.m. and I was bushed. This is going to be a busy three days. Today, I have to put together my study guide for Astronomy, burn CDs and pack. Monday won’t be too bad, but Tuesday is going to be iffy.

I have classes from 9:30 until 2:15. Here are my options.

1)Technically, I could just skip all three together and tell someone to do the speech for me. That would mean on Monday, I would only go to lab and then come straight back here to rest up until Tuesday.

2)I could go to American Government because I have perfect attendance in there so far (same for Global Issues). Now, I could leave immediately after Global Issues and skip Astronomy so we can leave earlier.

2a)I do what I described in #2 except go to all three classes (I almost would have to because Tuesday is the last lecture in Astronomy and the test will be next Tuesday (3rd).

I’m undecided with what I would do. BTW, my brother-in-law could be headed to North Carolina to pick up my niece and nephew (not blood related though, just through marriage). However, if everything works out, we’ll have the cargo area in the Suburban free so it won’t be as packed.

Also, if you don’t see my leaving notes or updating, that will be because I can’t get to a computer (technically I can, but I don’t think it would be a good idea). I know that I will have tons of entries and diaries to read, but I will try to read every one of them. That is unless you guys specifically tell me which entry(ies) to read :-P.
