I haven’t posted in over a month, oops. I have actually taken a hiatus from OD. With OD constantly going through a different power outage, and people migrating to other social sites, I just haven’t felt motivated to come to the site anymore. I realized that I can never truly leave OD lol.
Over the past month, I started a new position at Sears. I went from being a sales in Home Improvement to an MCA. An MCA is in charge of working with planograms, making sure prices are accurate, and keeping accurate track of inventory. Since I’ve started as an MCA, I am working more hours while not having to deal with customers all the time. Unfortunately, I still have to deal with customers every now and then.
We’re also dealing with organizational shakeups as well. Our store manager is officially retiring at the end of the month, and so far, there has been no news on his replacement. One of my co-workers was fired for calling a female co-worker a “witch”. And people have been talking about that particular incident for days smh. I really felt like I was back in high school!
In other news, I cannot wait for my Chicago trip to arrive! I leave in a little over two months from now. I’ll be leaving May 6th-10th. I want to go on the architectural tour, and see five of the most popular attractions in Chicago. I also plan on trying out Garret’s popcorn too.
I have enjoyed not having to work the crazy hours I did during the holiday season. I will be going back to Domino’s soon, but I’m only going to work on the weekends. Since my brother is getting married in the Dominican Republic in September, I’ll need to do a lot of saving between now and September ;-).
I have soo much more to write about, but photobucket is being a pain. I have pictures from my visit with Ana Rose and pictures from the Falcons vs. Seahawks playoff game. I will finish out this entry with pics from my latest project at Sears.
I was in charge of assembling three different outdoor storage sheds. I had to put those up during one weekend. Here are the pics:

Starting on Shed #1.

Shed #2:
And last but not least, Shed #3, a.k.a Big Momma.
Me finishing it up.
I’ll post more on Friday :-).
Hi! So nice to see you here again and hear from you. I figured it was job stuff keeping you away 🙂 Glad you’re doing well. I wish I could go to Chicago with you! I LOVE THAT CITY. I’m trying to plan a trip myself. You must do the architectural tour for sure – it is probably one of my top three fave things I’ve done in the city. xoxo

Great job on those storage sheds. I like the last one the best. 🙂

ryn: I know right? 🙂 If I had the funds right now I totally could; Miles wouldn’t care so that’s not the issue. I plan to get there sometime this year anyway so I’ll live through you first!
