Isla Mujeres
I JUST BOOKED THE FLIGHTS TO ISLA MUJERES!
Paco and I will be bon voyaging to Cancun on October 5th, setting sail on a ferry to Isla Mujeres, and spending an entire week on the 7km island.
I. Am. So. Excited.
Of course, this means, serious workout time. No more lazy workouts, no more lazy days. I will spend at least an hour doing some sort of exercise nearly every day until that trip.
I fished out my exercise ball from my closet yesterday, and my 8lb dumbbells (shut up, I’m not trying to be a body builder) and am going to start the journey.
Tonight I’m walking home from work (3 miles) and walking Greenlake (3 miles). Tomorrow I’m planning on walking home again. Thursday is kickball, Friday could possibly be a rest day or I might go for a little walk at lunch.
Saturday is an ALL DAY kickball tournament (paired with excessive drinking… it is encouraged).
Sunday is our kickball playoffs, which, if my the grace of God, we may play 3 games in a row (and then win).
I’ve been logging my food and exercise fairly diligently (on the weekdays) on MyFitnessPal. My name is Snootergirl, should anyone want to friend me.
Today I’ve eaten:
-Whole wheat bagel with jalapeno cream cheese for breakfast
– homemade salad with celery, tomatoes, cucumber, mushroom, and a tablespoon of sunflower seeds (no dressing).
– I had a gluten-free cookie after. I just wanted it.
-Tonight I think I’ll have 2 veggie dogs, hold the bun. With ketchup and dijon.
OOOOOO so much fun!

Duuude. You know more then 8lbs isn’t going to make you a body builder. And besides..muscles burns more calories. Weights are perfect for losing weight. Seriously. You’ll see results faster.
