The vacation.

this weekend has gone by sooo slow. It was fun though, dont get me wrong.  Anyway, ive got ALOT of pictures. (me + camera + place ive never been before = fun!) And i want to make this easy for myself, because 5 days worth of vacation is alot to remember

Alright..So, starting off with Day 1, Thursday:

I woke up and had to go with my mom to drop Ria off at the dog place, we get all our stuff packed in the van, then meet aunt lori, uncle james, samantha and patrick at the airport. we were late and barely made it onto the plane. i was freaking out because i thought were all going to blow up and die. but we didnt. i arrived in los angeles safe and in one peice. But one problem: One of my moms bags are missing. (We told the people at the airport, and they said theyd send it to us when they found it, and they did the next day. so yea, happy ending there.)After that huge ordeal, we go and wait a whole hour to get our rental car.

They wanted to get one of those vans that seat 12 people, but the rental place didnt have them. So we got this instead. Its an 8 passegner car thing, and we had 9 people, 5 of them full grown adults. So we were all stuffed inside it for the whole trip.

anyway, we get lost driving through beverly hills (which is an awesome place) and we finally found sam’s hotel, which is fancy and has fancy people surrounding it. turns out they messed up their reservation. they gave them a room with one king sized bed. of course, having 4 people, that wasnt going to work out. so we get lost again finding my familys hotel (which turned out to be only 2 blocks away)

Besides the fact that the electricity was out on the whole block, and that we had to use candles and sleep in the heat the first night, it was a very nice place. and the people who worked there were some of the nicest people ive ever met. Even the cleaning people were really nice. As soon as we got to the hotel, they gave us water bottles and popsicles, and apoligzed for the electricity being out. they ordered pizza for dinner for all the guests too, since the power was gone. Aunt lori and uncle james decided to stay at our hotel instead, because they didnt want to have to go through the trouble of arguing about their messed up reservation. Thats John playing chess with my dad.

Day 2:

We walked around hollywood and went to some shops and some meuseums. saw all the footprints in cement. and on the way we saw the Big Lady on the Big Wall.

and A stealth fighter thing from the new movie.

I was also forced to take a hike on a big hill…which sucked, because i didnt have any water and it was hot as hell. (i was also wearing jeans and a black t-shirt, not a very smart choice for hiking in 100 degree weather)

Day 3: We go to universal studios, DEFINTLY the best part of the trip.

Ugh…everyones waking up. and im hungry, and i dont feel like typing right now. Ill do this later.
