Good lord summer school sucks. At least I’m not surrounded by idiots, as 90% of the people in my classes are there to graduate early and get the hell out of here. I love finding out why the other people are graduating early. I find their stories incredibly fascinating. It’s amazing thinking that each and every person has their own reason for going through with it. We each have a personal story, a personal drama. One very intelligent guy is doing it in a serious attempt to get his life back together, after being in jail for 2 years and attending rehab earlier this year. One guy got his girlfriend pregnant and is graduating early so that he can marry her and raise their baby together. One girl had a baby three months ago, and wants to leave early so that she can raise her baby. The other 10 stories I’ve heard, including my own, have many reasons for going through with this, but we all have one thing in common; We absolutely hate our schools and the shit we’re forced to go through at them. As one girl said today, taking the words right outta my mouth, "I hate going to school, I hate it SO much, I can not stand staying here for one more year, I just can’t do it, I’ll go crazy. I can’t put up with all the shit anymore." The girl who said that is also graduating early because she was kicked out of her house last month, and she’s moving to tenessee when she graduates. Another 3 people were kicked out of their houses as well. Another girl, one who I admire greatly, is planning on moving to Georgia with her boyfriend and living happily ever after. She’s one who hates her school as well, and from the stories ive heard from her, she has great reason to.

But about that last girl…I can honestly say I have NEVER met ANYONE as awe-inspiring as she. She’s amazing. She’s like a walking Wikipedia, knowing everything about everything, and Im not even exaggerating. I’ve never met someone as cultured and intellegent as she is. She’s well informed about everything from renessaince artists to norse mythology to every existing rock band to starcraft to horror novels to psychology to philosophy to why the sky is blue. It’s incredible. Today, for example, she explained to me the significance of the 7 deadly sins and how they were represented in the epic poem The Divine Comedy.

I mean……..WOW. She’s like me, only so much better. When I know 6 things she knows 8, kind of like that. Heck, she even gets panic attacks and stresses like crazy just like I do. She had almost had one today while we were presenting stuff.

She could be used for pro-marijuana things too, because she does that when she gets stressed, and unless her brain is miraculously making new brain cells, hers are obviously not getting killed by it.

Along with Anna, she is my new role model.
