never again

Wow. The past 7 days or so have been the longest days of my life.

I will NEVER evacuate again. I have decided next time theres a hurricane Id much rather stay home and die. Why? Well..the last two times I tried to write about all the crap that happened I ended up pressing "backspace" on accident. After that I kinda got pissed and gave up. I was already pissed before that.

We got our electriciy back (finally) the other day. I was going psycho. My mom wouldnt let me go over to my grandmas either. She had electricity, which SO was not fair. They got to all the rich neighborhoods before us, but hey, whaddya expect?

So yea nothing happened to our house thank god…lots of people had trees down. one of our trees in the front yard has no branches left on it now. Its pretty funny. Its like naked. Alot of other peoples fences went bye-bye. A house near mine caught on fire. A bunch of peoples transformers blew up. That was Pats favorite part, something from a power plant thing blew up, and he said it went BOOM and a giant blue ball of fire flew into the air and it was so cool. He stayed, and said him and his mom and his cousin sat on their driveway in the middle of storm on lawn chairs drinking beer and partying ^_^

I wish i coulda been there. Instead, I was in a car…for 16 hours…with my dog and cats and family..and my pants being soaked with dog vomit every few hours. *tries not to remember past weekend*

It wasnt that bad actually. Once we decided to go to corpus and got there it was all good. we stayed in a hotel. There was gas. There was food. There was my aunts house. There was electricity. We came back home on saturday morning, and thats when i started getting stressed and pissed again. Because I was hot and thirsty and bored out of my freaken mind.

Besides all that….everything pretty much A-Ok now. Except for the egg deal. I was making cookies a few hours ago, and I needed an egg, and I realized I didnt have one, so we went to the store, and there was no eggs. And we went to another store, and there was no eggs there either. And NO ONE had any freaken eggs. And it made me mad. Stupid hurricane.

Hmm..I guess I should go do my homework now. We had to start school again yesterday. I was glad, because I was sick of being stuck at home with my family.

Ooo Im hearing about tornados on the news during the hurricane. There was one in lufkin, where we were before we went to corpus, and a tree fell on the "ranch" we were going to stay at. (The "Ranch" turned out to be a trailer in a bunch of trees)

I hate hearing about hurricanes. Its always hurricane-this, hurricane-that. GRR…stupid hurricanes.
