Bit of excitement: Driving Kat to the doctor today?

I trained for international student orientation today. I wasn’t planning on doing it this semester, but the office has more students than they’ve ever had for a spring and three orientation leaders aren’t going to be able to handle it. They called me and begged me. We have almost 35 Saudi Arabians coming and there are still more signing up. We have a lot of other students from varying countries, but Saudi’s make up a major part of the orientation this semester.

This will be my 4th orientation to lead. It’s kind of cool that I’ve seen so many students come to our university and enjoy their time here. I think it is going to be a great experience and a lot of fun will be had. At least I hope.

Drove up to the city to the north this morning to take Kat to a doctor’s appointment. Jimmy couldn’t get off of work to take her to her first appointment, so I said I would. Since they have put her on blood thinners she got sick and had to go to the hospital because she was developing a fever. This was a few days ago and they gave her antibiotics. Now her blood is too thin because of the blood thinners. She is so frustrated, she almost cried this morning when I arrived at her flat. I hope this gets worked out soon, she is such a great friend.

Need to go take a bath and shave. I hope everyone has a great night.

But you’re so friendly and good with people, no wonder they begged you to do orientation!

Seems things are going very well for you. That’s always great to hear! I’m tagged! WOW! I’ll get to it soon. That sure was fun to read about you!

these are always so much fun. thanks for doing this. and thanks for the update about your life. glad things are going well. you’ll be great at orienting. you are so personable.

oh, i hope kat is ok. sounds like they need to get the medication straightened out. congratulations, you must have made a great impression if they begged you to help out with orientation.

RYN: Thx so much. She was a wonderful women who you would have loved. The poem in the entry was written by her. She’s so multi-talented yet so modest. She never posted stuff or shared very little because she was nervous of what people would think. Yet everything she did was amazing and loved by all. She was the most loved person I’ve ever known. And I’ve only known her online. We spoke last night

for the first time ever and it was like we’d known each other our whole lives. She’s just THAT friendly. The world has lost one of its brightest stars. And left a huge void where her love was : ( Thx again.

Love those quizzes-even if they are a little too nosey at times! Enjoy orientation-lucky people to have you lead it!

ryn: yes, i have an orange tabby cat.

RYN: Of course, you are more than welcome to continue to read me. I’ll reply to your other notes in a bit.

Alright, getting to your other notes: 1. I think the trick for girls sometimes is to let the guy “think” that he’s in control, when in effect, perhaps it’s the girl that has it. The guy is always going to want to feel like he has the control… Whether he really has it or not is a different question altogether. 2. It’s an interesting thought, isn’t it… Am I freak?? LOL. 3. It’s okay

to be selfish… There are lots of guys out there who loves to give.

Hmm…your kiss type sounds pretty damn good to me. But a Virgin still huh? Very cool. Waiting till marriage? or waiting for the right guy first?
